As you all know, Nick and I joined forces on May 23, 2009. It was so nice to have all of our family there for our special day. Everything was wonderful! Though it did rain at the reception. But someone told me that it was good luck. And I believe them, because married life so far is pretty darn good.We spent our honeymoon in Panama City Beach, Florida. It was full of adventures! One day we decided to hike on a trail that ran along side a small lake. We were shocked when we walked up on three pairs of alligator eyes staring at us from the shallow water about 10 ft from were we stood. Did I mention there was no barrier? Nick stood there trying to fix his camera so he could capture the moment while I was standing on top of a nearby bench pleading with him to get on too. Unfotunately Nick's camera never got fixed, so we don't have any proof. Another day we rented a scooter and spent most of the day cruising on the streets along side the beach.
As of now, I am coaching at Jill's Gymnastics. School starts around the end of August. I will still be working to complete my bachelor's degree while Nick will be working towards his masters. We are living in a small loft apartment here in Shreveport. We have 4 happy fish: Lucky, Oscar, Blue, and Abigail. Like I said, life is pretty darn good.
